Once again the Arduino and audio enthusiast team at CoolArduino have published another interesting tutorial which results in an interesting final project. The latest example is their N-channel MOSFET tracer based around an Arduino with a graphic LCD. Their motive for designing was to remove the need to refer to data sheets every time they selected a MOSFET, and don't need to run it to the extremes in temperature in current. Their simple external circuit controlled by the Arduino offers the display of various characteristics of the MOSFET under test - for example:
It's an interesting piece of test equipment, so for more information including the theory of operation, schematic and Arduino sketch, visit the tutorial page. And for more, we're on twitter and Google+, so follow us for news and product updates as well.
