New from Freetronics - USB Serial Adapter

Today we're excited to announce another new product, our USB Serial Adapter. It plugs into a USB port on your computer and provides you with a hardware serial interface: perfect for giving your home-brew Arduino-compatible projects a USB interface compatible with the Arduino IDE. In earlier times you may have used an "FTDI" module to achieve the same thing, however our USB Serial Adapter is so much more:

Based around the Atmel ATmega16u2 microcontroller - and with the included header pins around the sides of the PCB you also have a 16U2 development board - with both 3.3 and 5 V operation. The board can be flashed easily, and has the pinouts for a USBasp programmer
