Automate home-brewing with the Arduino and Raspberry Pi-controlled "BrewPi"

Brewing your own beer may seem simple, however it can get quite scientific and require some serious monitoring and control for a successful batch. Therefore technology can help us, and with the "BrewPi" system you can harness the power of Arduino and Raspberry Pi to build your own version of this open-source system. It consist of an automated fermentation controller that can control the temperature down to 0.1 degrees C, be controlled via the web and log temperature data in Google Docs. With some tools and a little work, you can make your own boards - and hopefully the results should be tasty and smooth. Here's an example of the external data display:

If you're a home-brewer or interested in how it all works, check out the project site. And for more, we're on twitter and Google+, so follow us for news and product updates as well.
