For the Microsoft devotees who are also interested in the world of Arduino, you can now create Arduino sketches using the TouchDevelop software from Microsoft Research. This allows the user to create Arduino sketches using a simple web-based user-interface and then directly upload the code to the target board.
Although to some people this may not seem to be an optimal method of programming an Arduino, it gives us more options which is always a good thing.
