Rui Santos reviews the Freetronics DMD

It's great to see our products reach far distances from sunny Melbourne, and one of our DMDs landed in the hands of Arduino enthusiast and prolific blogger Rui Santos. In his video he shows how easy it is to get started with our Dot Matrix Display unit, and demonstrates some of the effects that are possible with the example code, as shown in his video below:

Apart from his DMD review, Rui has also published a range of projects and tutorials of interest to the Arduino enthusiast and wide community, so check out his interesting website. And for more, we're on twitter and Google+, so follow us for news and product updates as well.

As used in the review mentioned above, check out our Freetronics Dot Matrix Displays. They're simple to use, yet very bright for indoor and outdoor situations. Available in various colours, the 32 x 16 LED matrix can display text and graphics quite easily - and can be daisy-chained together for extended displays. For more information, see our range of Dot Matrix Displays here

Thanks for posting my video review!
I’ll be working on a project with the DMD in the next few weeks.
