More animations on Arduino-controlled LCD Modules

Last week we highlighted a great tutorial about creating graphic animations using character-based LCD modules, and now we've found another example on the Arduino forum by member Jan Stapler who demonstrates another very smooth animation of popular video game character Mario. Doing so isn't complex at all, the sprites (or "frames") for the animation can be created with custom characters, and with a little effort can be quite successful, for example:

Although this may seem frivolous, they can be used for Arduino-based games or making user-interfaces more interesting and appealing.
